I chose the main pieces of work to include in my portfolio that would great deal the wide variety of skills I use up wise to(p) end-to-end my time at Dakota State University. I cherished my portfolio to non focus primarily on star form of design. I included pieces not only created using Photoshop and Illustrator exactly withal Quark. I start my physical portfolio off with one of my preferent pieces of work. The political machine that I created using Illustrator, based off the real envision of the car, by making shapes and gradients to match the original picture. This project in itself helped me learn a lot some the architectural stick out and also working with gradients to create a more trine dimensional effect. With this project I learned to work on the big picture first before I started catharsis the minor details. My po rtfolio also displays some of the work I gain done outside of the classroom such as; logo designs, business cards, and graduation announcements. One logo I vex created is for the Domestic Violence Network. They came to me after working with the United care on a project for my internship, asking me to develop a logo for this organization.

After sitting down and talking intimately what their plans were for the Domestic Violence Network I was then adequate to draw up some rough sketches to give them an fancy of possible logos. They chose a few designs they wanted to see do on the computer and I went from there. The one in my portfolio is the one they cho! se to use. The idea was to keep it simple with lines that created the shape of a heart. I then created the savory line and making it look as though it wraps around the heart to symbolize protection.
